Single parent scholarship

I have served on the advisory committee for the Single Parent Scholarship fundraiser for 11 years and as the Chair for 10 years, raising over $100,000 for deserving recipients.

Women Can Run healthy living program

The "Women Can Run" program encourages women to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle. I have directed this program for 6 years and will be beginning the 2012 program during the first week of March.

Celebration of Lights

I have chaired the Celebration of Lights committee for 9 years.  This event draws more visitors to the Courthouse than any other.

Courthouse Centennial Celebration

In 2002, I chaired the Courthouse Centennial Celebration.  There were a series of events on April 17, 2002 that introduced many, young and old, to the magnificent history of our 100 year old Courthouse.  The celebration included tours of the Courthouse for grade school children, local performers and recreations of 1902 attire on display.
