Introduction Letter

Dear Saline County voter,
Having worked for Republican Saline County Judge Lanny Fite for 10 years as his administrative assistant and one year as your County Tax Collector, I want to introduce myself to you.
I am a member, and active in, the Saline County Republican Party and the Hot Springs Village Republican Women's Party. In past years, I have supported several Republicans that have run for various offices.
Brett Hooten, former Chairman of the Republican Party of Saline County and Chairman at the time I joined the party, recently stated, "Since joining the Saline County Republican Committee, Collector Ballard has been one of the most supportive and active Republican officials. She has been an invaluable asset to our committee and I greatly appreciate her service."
After 11 years of on-the-job training in county government, I have learned a great deal about county and state law, worked at the capital for tax law reform, and I strive to deliver the best service.
As you may have heard, I aggressively pursue delinquent tax accounts. Tax rates are set by the vote of the people. The vast majority who pay their taxes must know that the collection process plays no favorites and is fair to everyone. I'm committed to collecting every dollar that is due.
